Genesis 22:18 KJV “and in thy seed shall all the nations of earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice”
Comment: The Messiah, the only son of God, would fulfill the promise of blessing to all the nation of the earth
Genesis 28:15 NKJV – “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you”
Genesis 27:8 NKJV – “Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to what I commanded you”
Genesis 19:26 “But Lot’s wife looked back and became a pillar of salt.”
Looking back at our old life paralyzes us
Genesis 26:23-24 “From there he went up to Beer-sheba, 24 and the Lord appeared to him that night and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your offspring because of my servant Abraham.”
God reaffirmed his promise to Abraham and his descendants. God keeps his promises.
